Between meetings and new collaborations, the morning is proving both busy and rewarding. And while the present is filled with fresh ideas and promising partnerships, the past is beginning to make its voice heard too: the research activities of the ReLMI project, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, have just got underway. Exploring reuse, repair and recycling in late medieval Italy, the project reminds us that the Middle Ages may have understood the principles of a circular economy rather better than we often give them credit for!
The research journey has only just begun, but it already promises to be a fascinating one. Stay tuned.
